From Latvia to reality

This may sound as a “the dog ate my homework” type of excuse, I cross my heart this is what happened: I had began writing a post about my Landlord going to Latvia, but forgot to save it, when the time came to reboot the computer system at my job, 6:00PM two day ago, all I had done and not saved got lost. Of course I got pissed and threw a quiet fit, I had gotten the memo and had ignored it like many other I receive concerning dress code, no jeans on Fridays and being removed from the summer Friday program if you get to the office late more than once during the summer period, gag, some people have too much time in their hands and too large a salary for sitting around checking a what time you got to the office and not how late you stayed…

Anyway no point in trying to recreate what I wrote, to make the log story short, my Landlord is going to Latvia, I was so ignorant that it must have showed cause he went along saying that Latvia was one of he Baltic States, Northern Europe, near Lithuania, just then a little light flashed in my brain when I remembered from the world cup that Lithuania has a soccer team, and as he mumbled something about someone his dating is from there and that’s the only reason he’s going, the little geak in me wanted to Google it. Where the heck was Latvia! And as it turns out I learned that Latvia is a very interesting place to visit, check it out! I think my landlord will like it, he’s not the tropical-in a hammock-under a coconut tree vacation type (beat’s me, don’t know why), but stop!...

It might interest you to know that this conversation happened not because I am particularly friends with my landlord but because my power keeps getting cut off! Something is wrong with the switch panel that I have waken up in the morning or gotten home at night and not have electricity! This guy is going on vacation for two weeks so he had to fix it before he left, so I started seeing more and more of him and that’s how I found out.

Oh well, good for him! He gets to go to a foreign country, with a date, for two weeks where as the rest of us get stay home and work, don’t cry for him, errr… NY.
